I am proud, humble and thankful forthe many years of friendship we shared. I was uplifted and encouraged by high expectations of me. For your gifts of books that opened windows for my mind and soul, that enabled me to vision a universe made large by beuty and creative imagination.

You have elevated my spirit and you have taught me serenity, gentleness and understanding. These things have imparted to me a strength I would not otherwise have achieved.

You truly belong to a circle of human debtors whom I will always owe.
