i am kenisha. i am 20 years old, and a junior in college. i just had the oppurtunity to read you old note that said something about you wanting a christian balck female that has to live her life in secrecy. well, let me tell you this...i did that same thing for 4 years, and it caused much more heartache and confusion. although you want to live your life in secrecy from your family, you shouldn't limit yourself to another female who has those same issues. it will only make things too complicated on both ends. i never really officially came out the closet to anyone, but my truest friends, you should be proud to be a lesbian, but that doesn't mean that everyone who knows you needs to know all your business. my family over time just figured it out. they went crazy praying for my soul, and telling me to get my life right with jesus. i grew up in church, and i know that the lord loves me just as i am. i have been in my relationship for 1 yr and 1/2 now. my girl friend and i live off campus in an apartment, and we both are saved and go to church. there have been so many family issues, and things that people i love the most have said about me.....but i had to find the strength within my soul to love and accept myself first. that's important. if you want to chat and vent sometimes, hit me up at chocolatism2000@blackplanet.com
