i am so very sorry to read about your heartache..but let me tell you this..time would only tell the mysteries of love. now to me it sounds as if this girl really loves you. but this love is very selfish, and because of your faithfulness i really think that you deserve better. i am not to judge whether or not you all will eventually get back together, but i will say that you need to heal from this pain first, and allow this female to go on and do the things that she really wants to do. getting a tatoo ain't a thing, those things can be removed, or drawn over. let her go and grow, and if it is meant to be she'll find herself and come back to you. please just spend sometime letting the pain release. a little hurt probably will never leave, but i promise each day will get better. meet some friends, not girlfriends, but buddies to hang out with to take your mind off her. holla
